Nectar, the UK’s largest loyalty programme with over 50% of households participating in the scheme, were looking to develop their HTML emails to provide more content of value for their points collectors.

The task began by redesigning the existing Rewards emails to include ‘additional’ content beyond the rewards themselves, and changing the design style to reflect current trends and create a more distinctive look, before moving on to cover a wider range of emails and updates keeping the Nectar Collectors informed of the latest offers and attractions that the scheme has to offer.

Nectar underwent a rebranding exercise in early 2008 which saw a change in the company identity. Working alongside London based branding agency Dave, I helped put together a set of online guidelines for future HTML email campaigns.
